These experiences — events that are so painful they fundamentally change the trajectory of our lives — are hard to avoid. It is important to understand what they are and how to prepare for them if and when you experience a crucible moment. Please see the resources below to better understand what a Crucible Moment is and how to move forward from one.
Your score is comprised of three areas, each building on the one preceding it, and each representing part of the refining cycle:
1. Discover how you are designed.
2. Cast a vision in line with your purpose.
3. Make your vision a reality.
It is possible to have a low score in multiple areas. If this is the case, our recommendation is that you start in the first area you received a low score in so you can develop a solid foundation to build upon.
You appear to have come to a clear understanding of who you are and how you are wired. This is the first step in living a life of significance, so well done! However, you may feel that your life lacks purpose, vision, or meaning. You may also feel like the reality you are living doesn’t line up with the reality you dream about.
It is time to take the next step and identify your life’s purpose — as well as the vision that fully aligns with that purpose. What are your beliefs and values? What lights you up — what are you passionate about? What do you lay awake at night dreaming about? If you don’t have immediate answers to these questions, you can conduct self-experiments and try a few different avenues to see what speaks to you. What do you feel that you are best at? What comes most naturally?
Ask family and friends about what they might feel you are best at. Reflect on your successes and setbacks, and try to understand how you can be of service to others. Ask yourself how you find yourself helping people most. What advice do your friends and family usually seek your counsel for?
Even if you scored high in some areas, take some time to reflect on them. Ask yourself how you can improve and come even closer to fulfilling your purpose.
Here are some resources to help you delve deeper into your results and move toward a life of significance.
