Great strength and potential can come from painful and difficult experiences; we can either wallow in our trials or use them to build a life of significance. Dive into how you are designed, identify your life’s purpose and vision, and bring your vision to reality — it’s all within reach for you. Continue reading to see how you measure on these dimensions and which areas to focus your energy on first.
Your score is comprised of three areas, each building on the one preceding it, and each representing part of the refining cycle:
1. Discover how you are designed.
2. Cast a vision in line with your purpose.
3. Make your vision a reality.
It is possible to have a low score in multiple areas. If this is the case, our recommendation is that you start in the first area you received a low score in so you can develop a solid foundation to build upon.
You are at the start of your journey into living a life of significance. Congratulations! Showing up here and answering these questions is a step in the right direction. It looks like you could use more clarity in all three areas of Design, Vision, and Reality. You may feel like you are on autopilot some days, or that life is happening TO you, versus you taking the reins for yourself. You may not understand why you do the things you do, or why you feel the things you feel. You may feel like your life lacks clear purpose and that the life you are living is not one you chose for yourself. This is a ripe opportunity to delve into discovering who you really are and do the work to understand the way you are wired, the purpose you would feel the most fulfilled executing, and the reality you want to build for yourself.
The place to start is understanding your Design. Once you better understand how you are wired, you are able to build from it, to cast a vision in line with who you are, and bring it to reality to lead a life of significance. You can start with a personality test to see, at a high level, how you are wired.
You can experiment with a few different avenues that speak to you to see what you feel best doing and what comes most naturally. Ask family and friends about what they might feel you are best at. Reflect on your successes and setbacks. Once you have a clearer understanding of who you are and how you are wired, you can take the next step and crystallize the Vision that you’re passionate about bringing into Reality.
Even if you scored high in some areas, take some time to reflect on them. Ask yourself how you can improve and come even closer to fulfilling your purpose.
